The Team Behind BEAM
Like most entrepreneurial ventures, BEAM Minerals began as a passion project.
BEAM Minerals originated from co-founder Caroline Alan's personal health journey. After suffering from various conditions and trying numerous protocols with unsatisfactory results, she discovered the little-known benefits of mineral supplementation through her friend Dan Howard. Together they established BEAM Minerals to educate people about minerals and provide completely pure, bioavailable, plant-based fulvic and humic products for effective mineral replenishment.
Sharing a Simple Message Is Best
After experiencing the remineralization of their own bodies, our founders made it their mission to learn everything imaginable about the science of minerals (and other micronutrients) in the human body – and thus perfect their formula. This journey led to insatiable research into the fields of cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, neurobiology and other neurosciences. The research then turned to plant decomposition, soil science, and other related fields, such as the study of GMO and the use of herbicides and pesticides in our food supply.
Surrounding themselves with people they say are “much smarter than they are,” they experimented and vetted their theories with doctors, scientists, and other experts in many related fields. While the process was laborious, they had a single purpose: to understand how minerals operate in the body, the process of mineral replenishment, how and why plant-based minerals are so effective and ultimately, to be able to explain it all in simple language that everyone can understand.
Putting the Beam in BEAM Minerals
We’re often asked the meaning of our company name. As you may surmise, the all-caps name comes from an unintentional acronym.
One day, while brainstorming on a white board (where most great ideas begin), the words “Best Electrolytes And Minerals” were written. BEAM. It was as if the company named itself.
Just as a “beam” brings light, it has become our passion to see others come alive from the inside and allow their inner light – their BEAM – to shine brighter in the world.
